Supported Home Network Configurations

Supported Network Configurations
Expedient will support the following Network Configurations.

Home Network #1 - The scenario uses the BEFSR41 to connect the LAN to the DSL line. For services that use PPPoE Expedient recommends that the user terminate the PPPoE connection on the Linksys device to avoid duplicate address translations from occurring.

Home Network #2 - This scenario uses the BEFW11S4 or WAP11 Wireless Access Routers as well as the appropriate wireless Network Adapter. (WUSB11, WPC11 or WMP11) For broadband services that use PPPoE Expedient recommends that the user terminate the PPPoE connection on the Linksys device to avoid duplicate address translations from occurring.

With a static IP ($25/month), running a server should work using port forwarding on the LinkSys. Expedient does not provide technical assistance for servers and/or the configuration of port forwarding.
