Speed Test

Remove Internet Explorer Branding

Command Line Fix

Close all browser windows and applications.
Click Start and select Run.
In the Open: field, type in rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear.
Press the enter key or click OK.

Tools Fix

Tools to remove branding can be found at Neutools or Dougknox (Expedient does not support these utilities; use at your own risk).

Manual Registry Fix

CAUTION: Editing the registry incorrectly can cause serious problems. Expedient is not responsible for any issues that might occur as a result of editing the registry incorrectly.

Close all browser windows and applications.
Click Start and select Run.
Type in regedit
Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar.
Delete the following string values:

BigBitmap
BrandBitmap
SmallBitmap
SmBrandBitmap
Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Delete the following string values:

BigBitmap
BrandBitmap
SmallBitmap
SmBrandBitmap
Window Title
Close regedit.
Launch Internet Explorer. The name and logo should be reset to the defaults.
