   LiveStats 6.2 Reports

LiveStats can generate over 50 reports you can use to help you target your marketing effort. Most of these reports have zoom views that show more detailed information. These reports give you insight into the behavior of customers and potential customers such as what keywords they used to reach your site, which search engines or referrers referred them, and how long they stayed.

You can generate a report for any day, week, month, or user-specified date range (up to 93 days) available in the database for this Virtual Server.

Reports have from two to eight tables or graphs—such as a 3D Stacked Graph, 2D pie chart, or trend analysis table—you can use to customize your reports.

After you have customized and generated a report, you can have LiveStats format it for printing and then print it from your web browser.

This section covers:

The calendar displays days with statistics in a darker grey, and the selected days in yellow. Days before the start of the database and after the end are a lighter grey, and are not selectable.

The customization is performed on a per report basis so that you can have different layouts for each different report.

A non-menued version of each report is available for easy printing.

To print a report
  1. Select the report and time range that you want to print.

  2. Customize the report so that it includes the elements that you feel are necessary.

Filtering a report Index

The elements displayed in many reports can be filtered based on keywords. This allows on pages within a certain directory, or referrals from a specific domain to be shown quickly without any special configuration.

To filter a report
  1. Select the report and time range that you want to filter.

  2. Enter your filter keywords in the 'Filter Report by Keywords' box and press 'Search'.

  3. Only elements that match the keywords will be included in the report.

Filters do not affect the information stored in the database. They are used only to display the one filtered report. All the values in all the report elements are based on the results of the filters.
