Expedient email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Expedient email.
For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Expedient email.
Open Eudora Light. Click the Special menu and choose Settings.
Click the Personal Information category:
Enter your name in the Real Name field.
Enter your email address into the Return address field.
Click the Hosts category:
Under POP account enter your username @ your mail server name. Click here for your Expedient Mail Server. (Example: If you e-mail address is johndoe@expedient.net, your POP account would be johndoe@mail.expedient.net or If you e-mail address is bobsmith@pgh.net, your POP account would be bobsmith@doit.pgh.net)
