Netscape 4.5-4.7 - News

The pictures shown in these instructions were taken on a Windows based computer, but the content and instructions will be nearly identical for Macintosh users.

These instructions assume that your email account has already been setup in Netscape Communicator 4.5. If you need to setup your email, please click here for instructions.

Open Netscape Communicator 4.5. Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.

Click the Newsgroup Servers category. You may need to click the + (plus) sign next to Mail & Newsgroups first.

Click the Add button. Enter your Expedient news server into the Server box. Click here for the list of Expedient news servers.

Note: If you are using our National Access news server, check the option to Always use name and password.

Click OK to add the server information. Click OK to save your changes and return to Netscape Communicator.
