Netscape 7 - News

The pictures shown in these instructions were taken on a Windows based computer, but the content and instructions will be nearly identical for Macintosh users.

Open Netscape and go to the Mail & Newsgroups window (Click the Tasks menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups).

Click the Edit menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

Click the New Account button, choose Newsgroup account, and click Next.

Enter Your Name and Email Address. Click Next.

Enter your Expedient news server. Click here for the list of Expedient news servers. Click Next.

Note: If you are using our National Access news server, you will be prompted for your username (in the form of username@expedient.net) and password when you try to access the news server.

Netscape will now ask for the Account Name. This is just a unique name to refer to these settings. It should already show your news server name, if not, enter Expedient. Click Next.

The last screen will allow you to review the settings you entered. Click Finish.

Click OK to return to Netscape.
