Eudora Light - Mail

	SMTP Auth and SSL
	Expedient email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Expedient email. For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Expedient email. SMTP Authentication SSL Encryption (outgoing) SSL Encryption (incoming)

Click the Tools menu and choose Options. Select the Getting Started category.

Under POP account enter your username@mail.expedient.net. (Example: If you e-mail address is johndoe@expedient.net, your POP account would be johndoe@mail.expedient.net).

Enter your name in the Real name field and your email address under Return address.

Choose Winsock for the Connection Method.

Select the Hosts category. Under SMTP, enter your Outgoing mail server name. Click here for your Expedient Mail Servers.

Click OK to save your changes and return to Eudora Light.
