Corporate/Workgroup Installation is required for Exchange. To determine the installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" for Corporate Workgroup installation, or "Internet E-mail" for Internet E-mail installation. If the installation type is Internet Mail, change to Corporate or Workgroup. Note: The MS Office CD should be available when changing installation type or adding Outlook services. Note: When you switch from the Internet Mail Only to the Corporate Workgroup installation of Outlook, the information that was contained in your old Internet Messaging Access Protocol (IMAP) account is not transferred to your new installation. See Q183208-OL98: Switch from IMO to CW Does Not Transfer Account for how to remedy the problem. It is important to also note that you should only switch to another installation type once.
