myStargate: Dial Location

Property Editors can be used by the subscriber to alter settings within myStargate.

Note: The subscriber is only provided easy access to the dial location editor (via the Dashboard). The other editors are contained within the shell folder interface and harder to find for the end user. This is designed to deter end-users from easily altering settings that may generate a support call.

Dial Location Editor

Dialing Locations are used by myStargate to control location-specific dialing properties for modem connections. myStargate contains only one group of locations shared by any accounts you may have with myStargate. To view, edit or make a new location, on the Dashboard, go to Tools and select Preferences.

The subscriber may use the elements in the dial location editor interface to create or modify settings of a dial location. The dial location contains information about the location from which the user is dialing.
