myStargate: Outlook Workgroup Mode (fix)

myStargate does not support MS Outlook in Workgroup mode. If you use Exchange with Outlook, please do NOT make Outlook the default e-mail client in MyStargate or the installation type will be changed from Corporate or Workgroup to Internet Only. If this happens, do the following to change back to Workgroup mode.

Before you begin, please locate the MS Office CD in the event that you are prompted to install files.

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click Tools -> Options then click the Mail Delivery tab.
  3. Click the Reconfigure Mail Support button.
  4. Click the "Corporate or Workgroup" radio button, then click Next.
  5. Click the yes button in the dialog screen that asks if you are sure you want to do what you are doing.
  6. Re-open Outlook. It will probably ask you for your Office CD to install some files. After this is done Outlook will be returned to Workgroup mode.

Be aware that if you change the Dashboard prefrerences to use Outlook as the default mail client, it will change Outlook to Internet Only mode and you will have to repeat these steps. Launch Outlook. It will probably ask you for your Office CD to install some files. After this is done Outlook will be returned to Workgroup mode.
