                           ABOUT MYSTARGATE

Welcome!  MyStargate provides Stargate customers with an easy-to-use 
interface for creating new accounts, or using existing accounts. The 
MyStargate Dashboard provides you with features such as automatic 
troubleshooting  of connection problems, connection monitoring, 
e-mail notification, mobile dialing (roaming), and HTML notifications. 

With MyStargate you can…

·  Connect to the Internet with just a few clicks of your mouse.

·  Run Diagnostics to find and repair configuration and connection 
   errors. 

·  Reconfigure multiple MyStargate-supported Internet applications by 
   changing the settings in your MyStargate configuration. 

·  Automatically update your account with configuration information 
   from Stargate.

·  Save a log of your configuration settings and errors to assist your 
   technical support representative in solving connection problems.

The MyStargate Diagnostic Agent detects and corrects configuration 
conflicts automatically, some at system startup and others when the 
dashboard is opened.

		           SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

MyStargate is not compatible with Macintosh OS X.  
NOTE: MyStargate software is not required to use Stargate's Internet 
Service. 

******************** Minimum System Requirements *********************

  Macintosh OS 8-9.x, PowerPC 601 processor, 64 MB RAM, Virtual memory 
  enabled, 300 MB free disk space

  Internet Explorer 4.5 or higher
  Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.5 or higher
  Outlook Express 4.5 or higher
  Newswather 2
  Qualcomm Eudora Pro and Lite 4.x

  Note: IMAP and Exchange email are not supported. 


********************** Using AOL (America Online) *********************

MyStargate software is currently not compatible with AOL's 
"bring-your-own-ISP”. Please contact Stargate Technical Support at 
1-877-570-7827 for assistance in setting up your computer for AOL 
without using MyStargate.

                          INSTALLING MYSTARGATE
======================================================================

A. Using the CD 

  1.  Place the MyStargate CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  2.  The MyStargate installer should start automatically.
       Note: If the installer does not launch, double-click the 
      "MyStargate Installer" icon in the MyStargate window. 
  3.  Follow the easy instructions and you'll be online in minutes!

	                   UNINSTALLING MYSTARGATE

A. Using the CD
 
  1.  Place the MyStargate CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  2.  Double-click the "Extras" folder.
  3.  Double-click "Uninstall MyStargate".
  4.  Reboot the computer.
