myStargate Shell Elements

The shell elements that are created during installation are available by going to My Computer. Each of these elements allows you to create or edit information and include:

1. Internet Connections: Make new connection (with or without new account setup) or edit an existing connection by right-clicking connection and selecting Properties.
     

   Creating Desktop Shortcuts and Deleting Connections

   You may delete the shortcut to a MyStargate connection on the desktop by right-clicking the icon and selecting "Delete" from the menu. To create a new shortcut, go into "Internet Connections" in My Computer, drag the connection icon onto the desktop and select "Create Shortcut" from the menu that appears.

2. Dial-up Phonebooks: Make a new phonebook entry or edit an existing entry by right-clicking the phonebook and selecting Properties. See MyStargate: Property Editors - Phonebook for adding or editing Phonebook entries.
     

3. Dialing Locations: Make a new location (work, home) or edit an existing location by right-clicking the location and selecting Properties. See MyStargate: Property Editors - Dial Location for setting Dial Locations.
     

Note: Many of the settings can also be changed in the Dashboard by going to Tools > Preferences.
