Your web browser keeps a list of webpages that you have visited. Sometimes it is necessary to clear those history files. Just follow the directions for your Web Browser version:
Windows Internet Explorer 5 & 6
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.
Click the Clear History button. When asked if you wish to delete your history of visited Web sites, choose Yes.
Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
Windows Internet Explorer 4
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the View menu and choose Internet Options.
On the General tab, click the Clear History button. You will be asked if you wish to Delete all files in your History folder, choose Yes.
Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
Macintosh Internet Explorer 4.5 & 5
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
Under the Web Browser category, choose Advanced.
Click the Clear History button, click OK to confirm.
Click OK again to close the Preferences window.
Netscape 4.x
Open Netscape Communicator
Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
Choose Navigator from the list of categories.
Click the Expire Now button and click OK to close the Preferences window.
You may need to quit Netscape for the History to clear: Click the File menu and choose Quit.
Netscape 7
Open Netscape 7.
Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
Double click Navigator to expand the category and choose History.
