Uninstall the VPN Client

Uninstall the VPN client from the Add/Remove Programs control panel. See Uninstalling the Client from Cisco for details.
Windows NT/2000
If you must uninstall the software manually, refer to Uninstalling the Client and manually reinstalling the driver

Macintosh

Any older version of the client must first be uninstalled before a new
version is installed in order for the client to function properly. The Mac OS X
native 'Uninstall' utilities do not work properly, so you must use one of the
two methods below to uninstall the Mac OS X VPN 5000 Client.
Method I: Enter the following command from a Terminal Window
as the Super User ('su' or 'root') from the /Applications/VPN5000Client/
directory...
./vpn_uninstall
Method II: Enter the following commands from a Terminal Window as the
Super User ('su' or 'root')
rm -rf /Library/Receipts/vpn5000*.pkg/ (if it exists) rm -rf
/Library/Receipts/vpn-5000*.pkg/ rm -rf
/System/Library/Extensions/VPN5000.kext/ rm -rf
/System/Library/StartupItems/VPN5000/ rm -rf
/System/Library/StartupItems/VPN/ (if it exists) rm -rf
/Applications/VPN5000Client/
