VPN Unity Client Installation

Update an older VPN client version already on the computer (two reboots are required).

1. Download the software to your desktop and begin the installation process. Click "Cancel" if a version of VPN5000 software is on your computer, and Uninstall that first, then retry this installation. Click "OK" to continue to the next step.
	Attention VPN5000 software users: please see steps 1a, 1b, and the note below. Otherwise, move on to step 2.	VPN5000 software users please take note, if the VPN5000 software has not been fully Uninstalled first, this process requires a total of two reboots and possibly requires a manual reboot at this step to continue with the installation, depending on your operating system.
		1a. Click "Yes".
		1b. Manually reboot your computer after this window disappears from your screen (Start>Shut Down...>Restart). The installation will continue automatically after the reboot. Please continue with step 2.
Installation Note: If the Unity client installation results in error messages, attempt the install again by double-clicking the Unity client installation program and following the steps listed below.
2. No action required.
3. Click "Yes" to continue the installation.
4. No action required.
5. Click "Finish" to reboot your computer.
6. Click "Next".
7. Click "Yes" to accept the software license agreement.
8. Click "Next".
9. Click "Next".
10. No action required.
11. No action required.
12. No action required.
13. Click "Finish" to reboot your computer and to complete the installation.

Installation on a computer without VPN software (one reboot required).

4. Click "Next".
5. Click "Next".

Click Start>Programs>Cisco Systems VPN Client> Right click on "VPN Client" (yellow lock icon) and drag to your desktop. Release the right mouse button and select "Copy Here" from the menu that appears.

You will find the yellow lock on your desktop. Double-click it to connect to Expedient VPN.
